Installing Citrix Workspace app for Windows
Step 1: Download the latest Workspace app from:
https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/windows/workspace-app-for-windows-latest.html
Step 2: Click Download Citrix Workspace app for Windows.
Step 3: If your browser prompts, select Save File. When the download is complete, click Open File.
Step 4: Your device may prompt for administrator rights for the installation. Click Yes to accept.
Step 5: Click Start in the “Welcome to Citrix Workspace” dialog.
Step 6: Check the I accept the license agreement box and click Next.
Step 7: Click Install on the App Protection dialog.
Step 8: Click Add Account on the “Installation successful” dialog.
Step 9: Enter daas.vle.umgc.edu and click Connect.
Step 10: Click Continue and sign in using your UMGC Faculty/Student credentials.
Step 11: Some applications will create desktop icons. You can remove these by opening Workspace and clicking the star icon for each application.
Step 12: Setup is complete. You are now ready to begin using the Workspace App for your UMGC courses.
Installing Citrix Workspace for macOS
Step 1: Open a web browser and navigate to: https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/mac/workspace-app-for-mac-latest.html
Step 2: Click Download Citrix Workspace app for Mac.
Step 3: Once the download completes, open CitrixWorkspaceApp.dmg from your Downloads.
Step 4: Double-click Install Citrix Workspace.
Step 5: When prompted, click Allow to permit installation checks.
Step 6: In the installer introduction screen, click Continue.
Step 7: Click Continue on the Software License Agreement.
Step 8: Click Agree to accept the license terms.
Step 9: Leave the default install location and click Install.
Step 10: Enter your macOS administrator credentials if prompted.
Step 11: Select Add Account.
Step 12: Click Continue.
Step 13: Once installation is successful, click Close.
Step 14: Click Move to Trash to remove the installer.
Step 15: When Workspace opens, enter daas.vle.umgc.edu and click Connect.
Step 16: Click Continue and sign in using your UMGC Faculty/Student credentials.
Step 17: Desktop icons may be created. You can remove them by un-starring applications in Workspace.
