A user receives a 404 error after they have successfully allocated the lab VM's and then click Launch to access their VM.

This error can happen when accessing the virtual machine for the first time after successfully allocating the lab VM's. This error is caused by a URL not getting set on the backend as an allocation error. Here is the path to resolution:

The student can click "Back to Homepage" and then try to Destroy the labs. Click Destroy lab:

Confirm that you want to destroy your lab by typing in DESTROY at the Warning pop-up.

The labs will begin destroying and should return you back to where you can allocate a new set of labs.
4. Then click Allocate to get a new set of labs.
5. If destroying the lab does not allow you fully Destroy the lab and then Allocate a new lab, then a support ticket will need to be opened at: UMGC Technical Assistance
